Schedule:                                            Saturday 8:30 – 5:30; Sunday 8:30 – 3:30

Position Overview
The temporary Weekend Receptionist will provide a welcoming atmosphere to facilitate customer service for Third Street students and families, as well as support for faculty and staff. This temporary position is expected to last until May 24, 2026 with the possibility of an extension if needed.

Duties
  • Greet and welcome the Third Street community members and guests at the front desk.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person/office, answer questions, and provide forms.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationary and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).
  • Answer phones, direct calls.
  • Distribute studio keys to faculty and staff (verify that all are returned by end of day).
  • Distribute & collect faculty timesheets (at end of day).
  • Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in required computer databases.
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance with a bright personality. Ability to be personable, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven ability to provide customer service.
